By now, it has become a central medium of his practice, whose precise visual language also finds expression in sculptural objects, large-scale installations, and performative works. A single sheet of paper often seems too small to contain the emotions translated into drawn lines. Accordingly, the multipart work Drawing Manifesto both executes and presents something whose seemingly chaotic web appears to be the product of a highly controlled drawing obsession while at the same time claiming to serve as a manifesto for the discipline of drawing itself.
