In 1965, he was commissioned to plan a Carmelite convent with an associated church, for which he produced this model in 1967. Although the convent project was never realized, the model later served as a schematic design for the church (1974 \u2013 1976) on the Georgenberg in Vienna-Mauer, developed jointly by Wotruba and the architect Fritz Gerhard Mayr. Composed of 135 concrete blocks, the striking sacred building, which was widely debated at the time of its construction, draws on the formal vocabulary of Wotruba\u2019s sculptural work, characterized by a dialogue between sculpture and architecture."},"medium":{"label":"Medium","value":"Plaster cast from clay model"},"onview":{"label":"On View","value":"0"},"media":{"label":"Media","value":["https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/internal/media/dispatcher/132561/full"]},"title":{"label":"Title","value":"Model of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Vienna-Mauer"},"classification":{"label":"Genre","value":"Sculpture"},"primaryMedia":{"label":"PrimaryMedia","value":"https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/internal/media/dispatcher/132556/full"},"displayDate":{"label":"Date","value":"1967"},"id":{"label":"Id","value":"11567694"},"iiifManifest":{"value":"https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/apis/iiif/presentation/v2/1-objects-46500/manifest"},"dimensions":{"label":"Dimensions","value":"15 × 32 × 27,5 cm"}}]}
