The artist has developed a distinctive process combining painting with laser technology: a focused ray of light cuts into layers of paint applied to coarse sackcloth, exposing them down to the primer. For his motifs, Jasmin looks both to art history and to pop and everyday culture. In this painting, he took inspiration from Maria Lassnig\u2019s work \u201cTwo Forms Superimposed / Black Surface Distribution\u201d (1952).
