What is the relationship between language, art, and the world around us? This is the question Josef Bauer explores in his sculptural works and installations. After completing agricultural training and attending business school, Bauer studied painting at the art school in Linz from 1956 to 1964. Letters, words, real objects, and their representations are key materials in his installations.
