— [Sabine Grabner 8/2009]</schema:description><schema:artForm>Painting</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/objects/7925/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/164080/full</schema:image><schema:name>Rübezahl</schema:name><schema:dateCreated>1851</schema:dateCreated><schema:creator>[Moritz von Schwind]</schema:creator><schema:creator>Moritz von Schwind</schema:creator><schema:artMedium>Oil on canvas</schema:artMedium><schema:description>Nach den fünf Rübezahllegenden des Johann Karl August Musäus.</schema:description><schema:artForm>Painting</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/objects/5981/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/17994/full</schema:image><schema:name>Puss in Boots</schema:name><schema:dateCreated>undated</schema:dateCreated><schema:creator>[Moritz von Schwind]</schema:creator><schema:creator>Moritz von Schwind</schema:creator><schema:artMedium>Woodcut on paper</schema:artMedium><schema:artForm>Print</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/objects/3570/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/8520/full</schema:image><schema:name>Ritter Curt’s Bridal Journey</schema:name><schema:dateCreated>1847</schema:dateCreated><schema:creator>[Moritz von Schwind, Julius Thaeter]</schema:creator><schema:creator>Julius Thaeter</schema:creator><schema:artMedium>Engraving on paper</schema:artMedium><schema:description>Nach Johann Wolgfang Goethes gleichnamiger Ballade.</schema:description><schema:artForm>Print</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/objects/5657/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/50811/full</schema:image><schema:name>The Boatwoman (Baroness Marie Spaun on Gmundner See)</schema:name><schema:dateCreated>c. 1851</schema:dateCreated><schema:creator>[Moritz von Schwind]</schema:creator><schema:creator>Moritz von Schwind</schema:creator><schema:artMedium>Oil on cardboard</schema:artMedium><schema:artForm>Painting</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/objects/8256/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/6828/full</schema:image><schema:name>The Erl-King</schema:name><schema:dateCreated>c. 1830</schema:dateCreated><schema:creator>[Moritz von Schwind]</schema:creator><schema:creator>Moritz von Schwind</schema:creator><schema:artMedium>Oil on wood</schema:artMedium><schema:description>Nach Johann Wolfgang Goethes gleichnamiger Ballade.</schema:description><schema:artForm>Painting</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/objects/6377/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/4771/full</schema:image><schema:name>The Bread Cutter</schema:name><schema:dateCreated>1823</schema:dateCreated><schema:creator>[Moritz von Schwind]</schema:creator><schema:creator>Moritz von Schwind</schema:creator><schema:artMedium>Oil on canvas</schema:artMedium><schema:description>We see here a young nobleman who is in the service of a knight. Gazing into the distance, the squire is cutting a slice from his large loaf of bread. His sword is beside him; his clothes—especially the slashed doublet and his shoes—point to the sixteenth century. They are as “old German” as the landscape with the gently flowing river, the village, and the Gothic church in the distance. Schwind was a key exponent of the nineteenth-century vogue for the romance of knights and castles. Known primarily for his fairy-tale images, he often romanticized the “good old days.” The past thus became an idyllic retreat from the present and its rationalism, which the painter experienced as increasingly cold and inadequate. </schema:description><schema:artForm>Painting</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/objects/1992/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/18873/full</schema:image><schema:name>Diana with Her Companions</schema:name><schema:dateCreated>undated</schema:dateCreated><schema:creator>[Moritz von Schwind]</schema:creator><schema:creator>Moritz von Schwind</schema:creator><schema:artMedium>Grisaille on paper on canvas</schema:artMedium><schema:description>Karton für ein Wandgemälde.</schema:description><schema:artForm>Drawing art</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/objects/2342/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/7355/full</schema:image><schema:name>Cemetery Scene from Mozart’s Opera “Don Giovanni”</schema:name><schema:dateCreated>undated</schema:dateCreated><schema:creator>[Moritz von Schwind]</schema:creator><schema:creator>Moritz von Schwind</schema:creator><schema:artMedium>Charcoal on paper on canvas</schema:artMedium><schema:artForm>Drawing art</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/objects/10166/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement></schema:ItemList></rdf:RDF>
