In “Word, Sentence, Paragraph (Z. &amp; N.),” he quotes a passage from Freud’s “Psychopathology of Everyday Life”: he mounts an enlarged photographic print on the wall and crosses it out with white neon tubes, which both obscure and illuminate the excerpt.
