Multidisciplinary artist Ines Doujak has been working on the series Ghost Populations since 2015. In it, she explores the global spread of pathogens that are understood as the causes of epidemics and pandemics but also serve as metaphors for migration movements in racist polemics. The artist is interested in both historical and contemporary connections between the emergence of pandemic diseases and political, economic, and ecological factors such as globalization and the large-scale destruction of the environment. For her collages, Doujak draws on original materials such as medical books, botanical charts, and historical prints from the early twentieth century. By combining these diverse visual sources, she creates fantastical hybrid forms that are both repulsive and alluring.</schema:description><schema:artForm>Print</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/objects/104333/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/112056/full</schema:image><schema:name>Hera</schema:name><schema:dateCreated>2008</schema:dateCreated><schema:creator>[Ines Doujak]</schema:creator><schema:creator>Ines Doujak</schema:creator><schema:artMedium>Gips, Holz, Stahlgerüst, Lose Bestandteile: Spiegelscherbe, Pinzette, Weihrauch, Kohle, herausnehmbare Siebvorrichtung zum Anzünden der Kohle im rechten Oberschenkel, Drehverschluss</schema:artMedium><schema:artForm>Sculpture</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://sammlungtest.belvedere.at/objects/82262/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/160756/full</schema:image><schema:name>O.
